Donations

BVCC's only sources of revenue are now membership dues and donations. We no longer have any grant revenue from volunteers working at the Bella Vista Recycle Center – the trade disagreements with China have substantially impacted the Recycle Center's revenue base. Our fixed costs for rent and Internet service for our Training center are on multi-year contracts and continue even if our usage of the Center is temporarily limited.

Membership dues alone are insufficient for our organization to break even, and the only way we can make up the difference is through charitable donations. There are several ways in which you may donate to BVCC:

Give a direct online donation to the BVCC PayPal account using the "donate" button on the right. If you have a PayPal account, you can choose to pay through that account and the source of payment depends on your PayPal account settings, either a bank account or a credit/debit card. With or without a PayPal account, you can choose to supply a credit/debit card for payment. The transaction fee to us from PayPal is at the nonprofit rate of 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction.

By participating in the WalMart Round-Up program, where on-line purchases at the Wal-Mart website or from the WalMart mobile app may be rounded-up to the nearest dollar amount, with the added amount being donated to BVCC. For set up information select this.
By a mailed check to BVCC at Bella Vista Computer Club, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd, Ste 208, Bella Vista, AR 72715-3016.
By check or cash in person.
If you have a Paypal account, by an indirect on-line charitable gift via the PayPal Giving Fund by designating "The Bella Vista Computer Club" as your desired charity. Accumulated donations are forwarded once a month (around the 25th) to our PayPal account, so there is some delay involved, at most 45 days; but there will be no transaction fees taken out of the donation. To donate, visit the PayPal fundraiser hub, sign in with your PayPal account, and designate "The Bella Vista Computer Club" as your charity, or use this link, to pre-specify "The Bella Vista Computer Club" as your charity and just login to your PayPal account.
NOTE: The Amazon Smile program in which we participated for several years terminates on February 20, 2023. We will receive our final deposit from Amazon sometime around April or May 2023, containing all outstanding donations for purchases under that program through February 20, 2023, plus an extra donation from Amazon representing the average amount we received for a three-month period in 2022.

If you have enough deductions to itemize deductions on your taxes, The Bella Vista Computer Club qualifies as a registered IRS 501(c)3 charitable organization.
